hi there, I'm Annerley Gordon!

I landed in Italy in the early 90s on holiday, ran into talent scouts of Italian dance music labels, and ended up staying and building my life and career here.

In the beginning I started working for the record label A.Beat-C, doing great stuff on the Japanese music market. As a result a number of tracks followed with Giancarlo Pasquini, the amazing Gino Caria (who was the first to believe in me!) and Andrea Leonardi. In this new style called “Eurobeat” we had a blast recording under my own name as well as various aliases. The biggest successes were “On My Own” (Annerley Gordon) and “Try Me” (Lolita) – the last one followed by an album carrying the same title.

Simultaneously I was lucky to be able to work with some incredible people such as Stefano Cundari (singing the Solitaire collection with the talented Diso), Gianni Corraini (who always took me to every studio, love you Gianni!), Vincenzo Pinto (who has since become a life-long friend) and the incredible Theo Spagna. These were just the right people at the right time. In 1993 things really started rolling when I co-wrote “The Rhythm Of The Night” by Corona which became a massive hit. The same year I started working for both Mauro Farina from S.A.I.F.A.M. and “uncle” Larry Pignagnoli and Davide Riva from X-Energy – resulting in many singles and many adventures.

The year 1994 was the year in which the phone never stopped ringing!!!
This was the turning point. I concluded a year filled with amazing opportunities; my first concert in Japan for 60,000 people PLUS a record deal with Larry Pignagnoli – a project which I would never ever abandon to this day. Together we created and still create some amazing stuff. Starting with writing projects, from Ally & Jo, to Ann Lee, and so on. The Off Limits family is never to be undervalued; my “sisters and brothers” include Leti, Giordano, Marco Soncini, Benny Benassi and the amazing vocalists and friends Dhany, Sandy, In-Grid and Jenny B, not to mention numerous other talents that passed by Off Limits. In 2005 I took a well-earned break to take care of my new baby, and then spent time as a fulltime mum. In recent years I have been on the road again touring as Ann Lee, and in schools teaching English, as well as being back in the studio. I’m always busy creating, writing and singing new music , never giving up my first true loves - Eurobeat and Italian dance music.

Now I want you to know that I’m always here and always ready to bring you new stuff. I may be older, but still as creative as always ;)

Love, Annerley.
